4Budget Dashboard

How It Works

Getting started with 4Budget takes less than a minute. Here's a quick tour of all the features.

01
Dashboard

Dashboard Overview

Your financial snapshot at a glance. See your available budget with a utilization ring, plus cards for income, expenses, and savings. Below, a color-coded breakdown shows spending per category with proportional bars.

02
Add Expense

Add New Expenses

Create recurring expenses with a name, amount, and custom interval — monthly, yearly, or anything in between. Set the next payment date, assign a category, and optionally define an end date. The effective monthly cost is calculated and previewed automatically.

03
Expense List

Manage Your Expenses

All your recurring expenses in one sortable list. Each entry shows the name, category, total value, payment frequency, and calculated monthly cost. Sort by name, value, next payment, or frequency. Tap any expense to edit, or swipe to delete.

04
Calendar

Calendar View

See when your payments are due on a monthly calendar. Red dots mark days with upcoming expenses. Below the calendar, all expenses for the current month are listed with their due dates and amounts. Tap any expense to edit it directly.

05
Insights

Insights & Analytics

Understand your spending at a deeper level. A budget utilization bar shows how much of your income is allocated. The donut chart breaks down spending by category with percentages, and the Top 5 Expenses list highlights your biggest recurring costs.

06
Monthly Cost

Monthly Cost Forecast

Project your costs 12 months ahead with a bar chart showing monthly totals. See the total yearly spend, average monthly cost, and which months are peak or lowest. The Financial Snapshot breaks down your income into expenses, savings, and free budget with annual projections.

07
Currency Selection

Multi-Currency Support

Choose from over 100 world currencies using the searchable picker. Each currency is displayed with its symbol, code, and full name. Once selected, all amounts, charts, PDF reports, and CSV exports automatically adapt to your chosen currency.

08
PDF Export

PDF & CSV Export

Export all your expenses as a clean PDF report or CSV file. The PDF shows a complete overview table with every expense's name, value, frequency, monthly cost, and next payment date — plus a summary of total active costs. Share or save via the iOS share sheet.
